What is RewardPost.com?
RewardPost.com is a website designed for placing Ads for any item you want others to find, be it a missing person, car part, or information on people, places or things. With the World Wide Web’s enormous possibilities and massive search engine hits, it is difficult to find anything without wasting valuable time. With RewardPost.com it is easy to place an ad, but instead of selling something, you specify what you’re willing to pay for the item you want, and then people contact you. Let others look for your item and they can profit if they find the item for under your reward price. If they are unable to find your item for less than you want, they can negotiate with you over the price.

What are the Reward ads?
RewardPost.com offers the ability to place two types of ads, the Reward ad and the Pledge ad. The Reward ad is for novelty items, for example, “I will pay $500.00 for a 1959 Cadillac Carburetor in excellent condition.”  Another type of Reward ad is for a missing person, for example, “I offer $10,000 for the safe return of my son John Jones missing from Los Angeles on June 1, 2030.”
RewardPost.com offers the ability to post a Pledge ad, which allows anyone to contribute money to a Reward ad.  An example of a Pledge ad is a, “1 billion dollar goal for the arrest and conviction of Osama Bin Laden,” or “1 million dollar goal of finding the remains of Jimmy Hoffa,” or “$1000 reward for the arrest and conviction of a criminal burglarizing a particular city.” The Pledge Reward ad allows others to pledge money to your ad.  Family, friends, neighbors, and people all over the world contribute to the ad, and by doing so automatically select a charity the money will go to if there is no claim for the reward.  Since there is a vast amount of individual pledges, we are unable to process refunds.  When you pledge to a Pledge Reward your contribution is final and will either go to the Pledge Reward if there is a valid claim, or to the charity you select.

How do I post a Reward ad?
Simply click on the button that says Post a Reward in the center of the screen and follow the online instructions.  If any problems occur while posting an ad please email customer service.

What is the maximum and/or minimum amount of money needed to set a Pledge Reward Goal?
Any sum of 1 billion dollars or less will set the goal for a pledge reward.

What happens if the Reward is not issued?
On Reward ads the ad simply expires. On Pledge ads the money contributed to the ad is disbursed to the charity previously selected.

Why do I need to provide my email address?
Since RewardPost.com does not receive a fee for the sale of your item, the person who answers your ad must contact you by email.

How can I benefit from placing an ad?
While saving time on searching for the item you want, there is also the power of our website allowing thousands or even millions of people around the world to search for your item.  RewardPost.com offers the opportunity to search for a missing person, novelty items, lost or stolen goods, a criminal in your neighborhood, or even a crooked politician.

How Can My Organization Benefit?
If you are a charitable organization, for example Save The Ants, you can create a Pledge ad others may pledge to for the reporting of ant stompers. If no one turns in the ant stompers, the money pledged will go to the legitimate registered charity.

How will the world benefit?
Through RewardPost.com anyone can create a pledge ad for people around the world to contribute money to which will set a goal amount to achieve. The aim of this website is to become the world’s whistleblower headquarters for all sorts of crimes and criminals. Worldwide there are hundreds of thousands of missing persons every year. RewardPost.com helps concerned people by allowing a centralized location, with a reward incentive, to help find their friend or family member anywhere in the world.

Why offer a money Reward?
RewardPost.com provides people with the tools and you provide the incentive! Cash is king and the more money you offer maximizes the potential to enlist the most people worldwide. Think of them as treasure hunters enlisted to find what you treasure. According to a respected criminologist, the FBI has caught the most criminals with reward offers than any other system.

What is membership?
Membership is currently free and will be expanded in the future with optional levels for a small annual or monthly fee. Currently you will receive emails of new rewards and notifications of Rewards in your area based on state.

What are the benefits of membership?
You will receive the most up to date information and soon you will have premium access to our expanded search tools and research millions of public and private source records (fee required).

How much does it cost?
Membership is free but premium items will be available for a small fee monthly or annually.

Do I have to pick a charity on Pledge ads?
Yes a charity must be selected when pledging.  Because of the vast amount of individual pledges we are unable to process refunds. When you pledge to a Pledge Reward your contribution is final and will either go to the Pledge Reward if there is a valid claim or to the charity you select.

Can I request a refund?
There are no Refunds for ad placement or pledges once you place the ad and agree to User Agreement and Terms of Use at RewardPost.com.

Can I get credit with the IRS for my charitable donation?
All charities listed on RewardPost.com are Federally recognized charitable organizations. Your information will be sent with your donation to the charity or charities you select and they will confirm your charitable donation with a letter in the tax year that such donation was made to them. Since RewardPost.com is not a charitable organization we cannot send you such a letter. If you do not receive a letter from those charitable organizations you must contact the charity directly.
RewardPost.com does not provide tax advice and you should consult a qualified tax expert for any other tax information or questions.

Can I post an anonymous Reward?
Yes but the fee is higher.  Please review our User Agreement and fee schedule.

What will I not be allowed to post on RewardPost.com?
Basically any ad which is offensive, illegal, or slanderous such as, but not limited to, private persons, names other than missing persons, or assertions that a person is a criminal except those that are criminals known to everyone, for example, Osama Bin Laden, and lastly you cannot post solicitations to commit a criminal act. Public person’s names such as a congressman or congresswoman, movie star, or anything consistent with freedom of speech may be allowed. No phone numbers or addresses of private persons, only general locations in the vicinity of the area you desire to place in the ad. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in the User agreement for further information.

Why are the ads reviewed before posting?
All ads are subject to review prior to posting and will be approved, denied, or redacted to comply with our Terms and Conditions in the User Agreement.

Why don’t you accept phone numbers or addresses in ads?
Unfortunately because of the possibility that someone would insert an ad with a phone number or address for malicious reasons we cannot allow them in ads.

How many words are allowed on a Reward post?
You are allowed up to 250 words.

Are there fees deducted from my pledge to a Reward?
Yes the fees for the transactions vary by Credit Card Company. Your charity or the valid claimant will receive the money you pledged minus the cost of processing your payment as is the case in similar online charity collection organizations.

How do I claim a reward for an ad?
For non Pledge Rewards simply contact the person who placed the ad by the email address they provided on the ad.

How do I claim a Pledge Reward?
Just click on our Claim a Reward button on the bottom left of our home page at RewardPost.com and fill out the claim form.

What is the claim process?
You will be asked to provide specific information but general in nature. Please review our User Agreement for further details.

Can I claim anonymously?
Yes please review the User Agreement.

Why is there a fee to claim a reward?
Because of the possibility of misuse and the cost associated with processing a claim we charge a fully refundable fee for submitting a claim form. If you are the valid claimant for the reward you will receive a refund of the full amount on successful distribution of the entire reward.

What is the process for disputes on claims?
On Pledge Reward claims a process has been developed to insure that disputes are resolved without RewardPost.com interaction or involvement. RewardPost.com is a neutral party in all matters. For further details please reference the process created for disputes on claims, found in the User Agreement and Terms of Use.

How do I remain anonymous?
RewardPost.com will assist in all possible ways to protect your identity and assist you in remaining anonymous.  However, RewardPost.com does not guarantee complete anonymity. Please research how to remain anonymous on the internet prior to use. Please review our User Agreement for further information.

How do I dispute a Reward Post?
If you find a post that you believe is false or outside the policies and guidelines in our User Agreement and Terms of Use please send an email to disputes@rewardpost.com.

What if I don’t receive my item from the Reward ad?
RewardPost.com is not an auction house and we are not an intermediary between an advertiser and the person that relied on the advertisement. If you utilized the services of PayPal Please contact PayPal.com for disputes as they provide dispute mechanisms for these issues.

How do I file a claim with PayPal?
Please see your PayPal account for information.

Is there a dispute mechanism between parties?
On Pledge ad claims only! We have entered into agreement with neutral third party agencies to assist you with these disputes. The fees these agencies charge may be paid from the reward proceeds following settlement. Please refer to our Terms and Condition in our User Agreement for more information.
